    I need to buy a cleaning tape for my mini-dv since it has shown signs of being dirty.

    I've got a sony pc100 and how important is it that i buy a cleaning tape from sony? Is there any difference? (where i live now it's easy to find the panasonic cleaning tape).

    Yo Ninjamonkie! Sony generally are regarded as producing the best DV tapes (Price reflects this) but as for cleaning tapes I'd just go for the panasonic. At the end of the day it'll do the same job.
